About the event
As we approach the holiday season, we know that this time of year can be particularly challenging for those who have experienced the journey of childhood cancer, especially for our bereaved families. To offer support for our community, we are hosting an upcoming virtual support session, "Navigating Grief During the Holidays for Caregivers". At A Moment of Magic, we embrace the diversity of caregiving experiences and encourage individuals to define 'caregiver' in a way that resonates with their unique journey, whether that's as a grandparent, parent, sibling, or in any role that holds profound significance to you. Hosted by Erinne Benedict, A Moment of Magic Mental Health Specialist, Doctoral Student, and Graduate Research Assistant at the Ferkauf School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. As a member of the Psychosocial Oncology Lab and a Childhood Cancer Caregiver herself, Erinne brings a unique perspective and valuable insights. Key Details: Gain practical strategies for navigating grief during the holiday season. Connect with other caregivers who share similar experiences.
