Because healing starts with heart & a little bit of magic.
This fall, Amazon and A Moment of Magic have teamed up to make a nationwide impact for children facing serious illness.
Through a generous $25,000 donation, Amazon is engaging employees across the country to pack Bravery Bags, carefully curated toolkits filled with creativity, comfort, and courage for children battling cancer and other serious illnesses.
What’s Inside a Bravery Bag
Each Bravery Bag is part of our Express, Create, Heal program, a trauma-informed initiative that helps children build resilience, self-expression, and emotional well-being through play and creativity. Every bag includes:
Art materials and mindfulness tools to help teach children about their mental health and give them the resources they need to express their emotions
Comfort items to remind them they’re not alone
Superhero capes and creative prompts that spark imagination and confidence, making mental health more approachable
Our Bravery Bags are symbols of strength and acts of love, hand-packed by Amazon employees and delivered by our volunteers to hospitals and families across the country.
A National Wave of Kindness & Shared Purpose:Amazon Employees in Action
Across 25+ Amazon locations, employees turned compassion into action through A Moment of Magic's Corporate Social Responsibility Activations. From warehouse teams to corporate offices, each site is hosting a Bravery Bag Packing Event, transforming everyday spaces into hubs of hope and creativity.
Each event begins with a moment of reflection on why this work matters, followed by hands-on volunteerism, and ends with messages of encouragement written directly to the children who will receive the bags.Every Bravery Bag packed at an Amazon site will be delivered by our local college chapters to hospitals and community partners in nearby regions, ensuring that this national partnership has a tangible, local impact for children in each community.

Here’s how you or your company can join the movement:
Host a Bravery Bag Packing Event: We’ll work with your team to gather materials and supplies to facilitate a memorable, purpose-driven experience for your team.
Write cards or make bracelets for children in our programs - Create handmade cards or friendship bracelets to be included in Bravery Bags or mailed for birthdays and treatment milestones. We’ll provide first names, prompts, and instructions to ensure every message feels personal, encouraging, and age-appropriate. Because little moments of magic magic a big difference.
Run toy or supply drives - Rally your team to collect toys, art supplies, gift cards, or more! We’ll provide a wishlist, digital flyers, and a shipping address or help coordinate a local drop-off with one of our chapter partners.
