A Moment of Magic Rings the NYSE Opening Bell!

ree

Dear A Moment of Magic Community,

Today, we reached a milestone that beautifully reflects the power of our mission. A Moment of Magic had the honor of ringing the Opening Bell® at the New York Stock Exchange.

At the podium, children served by our programs, many of whom are bravely navigating childhood cancer and other critical illnesses, stood proudly as they rang the bell that signals the start of the trading day. It was a powerful moment that celebrated their courage and reminded the world that joy, play, and connection are essential parts of healing.

This milestone was also marked with a celebratory breakfast hosted by the NYSE, where we gathered with some of our leading partners and collaborators. Together, we reflected on the importance of our mission and the collective impact we can make when community, creativity, and compassion come together.

Since our founding in 2014, A Moment of Magic has brought joy and comfort to over 150,000 children nationwide through hospital visits, community-based programming, and our network of trained college-student volunteers. Today’s ceremony shined a spotlight on their stories and affirmed our mission: that every child deserves to feel strong, brave, and supported during their most difficult moments.

If you’d like to help us continue creating moments of courage, connection, and healing for children across the country, please consider making a gift today:

This milestone would not have been possible without our incredible community. Your support makes it possible for us to stand on some of the world’s biggest stages and share the strength and resilience of the children we serve.

We look forward to sharing photos and videos from this extraordinary day very soon. Until then, thank you for helping us make magic happen.

With Gratitude,

The A Moment of Magic Team
