A Moment of Magic’s New Era

Ten years ago, A Moment of Magic began with a simple idea: to bring play, joy, and a little bit of magic into the lives of children facing the unimaginable.

What started as a college project has grown into a powerful movement, mobilizing thousands of volunteers, partnering with hundreds of hospitals, and reaching more than 150,000 medically vulnerable children and families across the country.

Along the way, we’ve learned that:

• Community isn't an extra. It's essential.

• Laughter isn't a distraction. It's a lifeline.

• Support shouldn't be rare. It should be everywhere.

Now, as we enter our second decade, we’re unveiling a new look, but our mission remains the same:

To harness the power of play to spark joy, reduce isolation, and support the mental health and emotional healing for medically vulnerable children and their families.
