Welcome to the West Virginia University
Chapter of A Moment of Magic!
Help us spread magic to children with serious medical illnesses
Located in the hills of Morgantown, WV, our chapter was adopted by A Moment of Magic in May 2017 and established at WVU in June 2017! In 2019, we completed 102 visits, meeting over 2,500 children, and completing 4,100 volunteer hours! We have formed partnerships with local organizations such as Ruby Memorial Hospital, On Eagle’s Wings Therapeutic Horse Riding Center, CureFest USA, Morgantown’s Ronald McDonald House, and MountaineerTHON. While our services are focused in the West Virginia area, we have visited children individually in four states and have done Skype visits to children internationally.
Due to COVID-19, in-person visits are currently suspended. Check out our virtual programming being offered through the national foundation!
